Island Secures Vibe Coding with Enterprise Vibe Publishing

WIth AI creating applications faster than reviewers can process them, they find ways around the process, which leads to the work appearing in uninspected environments and leaves the organization with a lack of visibility and. no way of understanding if the value has been delivered.

In a recent study, Gartner predicts that vibe coding techniques and tools with create 40% of enterprise production software by 2028. But applications built in a few hours are reading from finance systems, customer records and source — often without authorization or knowledge. This creates serious risk.

To solve that problem, Island, creators of an enterprise agentic control plane, today is introducing Island Enterprise Vibe Publishing, offering a safe, managed place to run their applications, each one inheriting an organization’s identity, policy and audit controls, the company said in its announcement.

To solve that problem, Enterprise Vibe Publishing enables workers to build apps and deploy them behind Island’s single sign-on tool for governance and oversight. It lets users build their applications with the coding tools of their choice, and then submit them for evaluation, where administrators review the work, apply policies and approve it. When the user publishes and share the app, coworkers can access via an app library or on their browser homepage.

According to the company’s announcement, every published app inherits its surroundings:
● Authentication by default. Users sign in through Island’s single sign-on session. No
per-app identity work, and no app is exposed to the public internet.
● Policy on every interaction. Data loss prevention, clipboard controls, and content
inspection apply to everything a user does inside a published app.
● Controlled paths to internal systems. Island Private Access gives an app a route to a
single internal resource, with no broad network exposure and no public backend.
● Visibility into usage and health. Every app reports into Island’s Digital Employee
Experience monitoring, so administrators see who opens an app, how often, how fast it
loads, and where it breaks, and can identify when a one-off tool has become critical
infrastructure.
● A full audit trail. Island records every interaction inside every published app.

Island publishes its own AI Usage Dashboard through Enterprise Vibe Publishing. This live tool tracks employee AI usage and cost across platforms, including Claude and Cursor.
